The new control tower was finally finished so the office staff crowded in to play air traffic controller for this press release photo.

Chief Mike "Fright" Furbish took Local Control, pointed at a runway and yawned.

Deputy Chief Izzy Landon did his perennial favorite "binoculars and microphone" thing on Ground while staff lackey Les Di'Ley took care of business at the Flight Data console.

Of course, the new airport wouldn't be open for another two weeks . . .
